The Worlds are over and we just made it back to Poland where we're dropping off the glider. The trip was long and we are just exhausted and in desperate need of some good sleep which we hope to get today.
The competition was hard, weather difficult and unpredictable. Agnete showed a constant outstanding performance flying all by her own every single day and she fully deserved to win the comp. I'm happy for her and wish I could compete with her in the next Worlds in France in two years time. Once again my warmest congrats!

We have one more day in Szczecin and Berlin and we'll be heading for the US on Wednesday. I'm really looking forward to this true vacation with no pressure whatsoever. We're flying to Seattle, WA via Frankfurt and Dallas Texas. I'm excited to see again the old places and show Ziggy the city, where I spend some great time and did tons of awesome powered flying years back. I'm soooo excited! Let the fun begin!
