the challenge continues

It was another challenging day today where nobody believed flying was gonna happen. The sniffer hit the ground twice almost beating the tow plane down and the decision has been made ... launching. S....s and f...s in Polish and German wherever you turned. It turned out to be low and slow but doable in the end. I'm not to impressed with my result but since this was a "cheap" task it just hasn't changed much in the overalls. Two more flying days to go. We'll see whats gonna happen.
I also inspected MN closely today. The kangaroo and Australian flag Ziggy put on my vertical just for the hell of it two years ago in Hungary are still there. Amazing how durable these things are. OK, the kanga is already disintegrating a bit but the flag stays perfect.

Zig is leaving for Europe tomorrow and I will welcome him here Sunday morning European time. I guess it's a bit late to ask him to bring over some more kanga stickers for the glider. They are kinda cute. We'll have few days to get the glider and everything else ready for Sweden and will board the ferry on Thursday. This is going to be a nice flying vacation ...
